How to get here.
The venue is 8 km from the nearest train station at Najac, from where we can arrange free pick-ups. There is an overnight sleeper (couchette) service from Paris which arrives at 07.00am. The TGV service involves changing to local trains at Brive-la-Gaillarde or Toulouse. There is a fairly frequent service from Toulouse which takes 1.5 hrs and is a beautiful journey along the Aveyron river. Tickets cost €18 each way.
Toulouse is 1.5 hrs away and there is a shuttle bus (navette) from the airport to the train station every 20 mins which takes around half an hour. It is then possible to catch the local train service to Najac. Easyjet flies everyday from Bristol or Gatwick, as does British Airways. Jet2 and Flybe also fly from many regional UK airports from April to October.
There are flights from Paris and Brussels to Rodez which is only an hour away.
If you need help with the final leg of your journey i.e from the airport/station to 'Aveyron Retreat, ask and we can arrange transport at a reasonable cost.
